Daytona Openwork

The Rolex Daytona is one of the world’s most iconic sports watches. Named after the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, the worlds capital of speed, Rolex’s chronograph was first released in 1963 – allowing racing drivers to measure speeds of up to 200mph on track.

Since inception the Daytona has undergone continuous evolution yet remained one of the most sought-after watches in production, with each iteration remaining as desirable as its predecessor.

At NIX, we’ve selected the 116500LN model for our Daytona Openwork project, the first reference to feature the Cerachrom ceramic bezel. Coated in black diamond-like carbon and with a minimalistic skeletonised dial, the NIX Daytona is the ultimate blend of heritage and innovation.
